Texas Workforce Commission Eligible Training Provider
SMU Continuing and Professional Education (CAPE) offers noncredit programs to help you build professional skills and achieve your career goals. SMU CAPE is recognized by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) as an Eligible Training Provider (ETP) for select certificate programs funded by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
The objective of WIOA is to provide training for individuals who wish to develop their occupational and job-seeking skills needed to obtain employment. Students wishing to pay for their courses through WIOA must apply and be approved by the TWC for funding before contacting CAPE.
