Reunion parties

We are excited to welcome the classes of 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004, 2009, 2014 and 2019 this year!
Did you receive an advanced degree from Dedman School of Law or the Cox School of Business? Be sure to find your school tent on the Boulevard – all schools will be there! Register today for the Dedman College Homecoming tent on the Boulevard, Alumni Night on the Law Quad, or the Cox Homecoming Weekend 2024 Grand Gathering Reception. Are you a Perkins alum? RSVP by email to join us at the Perkins Boulevard tent. We can’t wait to see you!
Affinity group activities
The affinity alumni boards: Asian Pacific Islander Alumni of SMU, Black Alumni of SMU and Latino Alumni of SMU will host annual Homecoming happy hours and tailgates on the Boulevard to connect with current students and alumni.
Homecoming parade
The Homecoming Parade 2024 theme is Board Games/Game On SMU.
During this year's parade we will be celebrating the 1983 Cotton Bowl Championship SMU football team and members of that 1982-83 team will serve as parade Grand Marshals. Our entrance into the ACC and our Homecoming and Reunion Weekend opponent - the University of Pittsburgh who the Mustangs defeated that day in the Cotton Bowl - make this the perfect time to commemorate the team, its achievements (11-0-1 record, #2 final ranking in the coaches and AP polls) and the bridging of two eras of SMU football. Read more about the 1983 Cotton Bowl victory.
Alumni Fan Zone and Reunion Village
Reunion Village is excited to welcome undergraduate alumni and their families, including those celebrating their reunion years. Attendees can enjoy food, beverages, games and children’s activities. There is something for SMU fans of all ages.
Please contact the SMU Ticket Sales office for more information on football tickets at 214-SMU-GAME or ticketsales@see-sac.com.
Visit the George W. Bush Presidential Center
Experience the presidency at the Bush Center on your return to campus – explore the “Freedom Matters” special exhibit to see an original Magna Carta, Lincoln letters and other rare foundational documents; take a photo at the Resolute Desk in the full-sized Oval Office replica, dine at Café 43 and wander the 15-acre Laura W. Bush Native Texas Park.
What memories keep coming back from the Hilltop?
Did you hit it off with your fellow Peruna handler? Maybe you pomped tissue paper for your Homecoming float with a best friend but have since lost touch. Whatever memories come to mind, join your friends and classmates at Homecoming.
